Terms and Conditions

Payment 

PayPal acts as an authorized agent for Pyramids Land Tours in matters that concern collecting credit card payments. Consequently, PayPal will make an appearance on your credit card statement. This means that the domain in which you enter your card details for the procession of your payment belongs to, and is operated by PayPal. 

All payments are expected to be made upon receipt. Thus, if payment is not accepted, or if the method for payment is charged back or rejected by the company, the buyer loses the right to ownership of any goods that have been purchased. Also, if a payment is not accepted, or if the buyer makes a charge-back after the date for the tour, then, PayPal, as our third party reserves the right to challenge such payment. 

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation should be entertained in a written document via email or fax. If the cancellation happens in the first 40 days of departure, then it is subject to a deduction of 6% of the sum amount received for it. This deduction will be made by the bank under the description of fees for transaction. More, in cases that tour participants terminate their reservations, these fees are to apply; 

A 25% deduction from the total tour price within 30 and 15 days before your date of arrival 

A 50% dedication from the total tour price within 14 and 7 days before your date of arrival 

A 75% deduction from the total tour price within 7 and 4 days before your date of arrival 

A 100% deduction from the total tour price within 3 and 1 days before your date of arrival. 

Also, if you would like to cancel a domestic flight that you have booked at anytime prior to the tour, the cancellation fees are to be in accordance with the cancellation policy of the domestic airline, these policies are dynamic and can change at any time, according to the peculiarities of each case.  

Refunds 

Normally, if the need arises, a refund will be made using the same payment method that was used for payment, and to the same account through which the first payment was made.

Refunds are not possible for no-shows. 

Complaints 

While in Egypt, if you have any grievances, please inform the company (Pyramids Land Tours) as quickly as you can, because most issues can be solved instantly. However, in a case that you still have some grievances after you have gotten home, please send us an email at info@pyramidsland.com and our team will surely attend to you. 

Agreement Acceptance 

The contract that contains the company's endorsement of the client's booking ( which should be in accordance to the booking requirements here) shall contain all the agreement between the company and the client. Thus, payment by credit card or bank transfer implies that the tour participants have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions present in the contract document, and that they have accepted to be bound by them. 

Accommodation 

Unless it is stated otherwise, the terms for accommodation is generally based on the sharing of a room by two persons (twin sharing). There are also rooms that are available for single occupants. However, they come with an addition of supplementary rent. Lodges and hostels are named to indicate their categories, and reservation of rooms can be done at similar establishments. 

Tariff and other prevailing costs at particular printing times are responsible for published prices, and these prices can be changed at anytime, without prior notice. 

Domestic Flights 

The quoted programs on average flight prices and approximate timings are as follows: 

Cairo – Luxor, departure at 05:30 am and arrival at 06:30 

Aswan – Cairo, departure at 22:00 and arrival at 23:30 

If you want to adjust the timing of your flight, is will be subjected to an extra supplement. 

Luxury/Sharm (are connected flights most times through Cairo Airport) 

International Flight 

Pyramids Land Tours can help you arrange international flights if they are needed. However, we have learned from our years of experience in the industry that it is best to issue international flights from point of departure. This way, the client can access a wider variety of options in price and availability. 

Responsibility 

We only act in the capacity of agents for participants as it regards travelling, whether by boat, rail, aircraft, road, or by any other transport means. As such, we do not assume responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, illness, delay, or other irregularities that might occur during the journey for anyone as a result of any of the following: 

- Weather 

- Force major 

- Acts of God 

- Acts by government of other relevant authorities 

- Civil disturbances 

- Labor disputes

- Riots 

- War 

- Mechanical breakdowns

- Delays 

- Quarantine or default acts 

- Cancellations 

- Changes in hotels, restaurants or carrier. 

Also, we will not accept responsibly for any extra expenses incurred during the tour. 

Special Request 

If a client wishes to make any special request, he is to notify the company when booking. The company will then work with its suppliers in such cases to deliver the requests. But then, the company does not guarantee that this will always be the case, seeing as it is not part of the contract, even for pre-bookable seats too. 

Even if the company confirms that it has noted a special request, or that the request has been passed to a supplier, or if the request is being referenced on the invoice for confirmation, it is still not guaranteed to be met. Also, the company does not acknowledge bookings that depend on the satisfaction of any special request. 

Children Policy 

1st Policy – for Packages, Hotels, and Nile Cruises 

0 – 01: Free of Charge (no charges apply) 

2 – 5: 25% of charges for total tour cost applies

6 – 11.99: 50% of charges for total tour cost applies 

12+ are considered adults 

If a provision for flight is included in your tour package, then an extra supplement may apply for your child 

2nd Policy – for Tours, Sightseeing, and Shore Excursions 

0 – 5: Free of Charge (no charges apply) 

6 – 11: 50% of charge for total tour cost applies 

12+ are considered adults 

If there is an inclusion of domestic flight provision in your package, then an extra supplement may apply for your child.
